FAQ’s

WE GOT THE A’S TO YOUR Q’S HERE
How do I get my band on "Live From NCCR"?

Please be aware that we schedule 2-3 months in advance for all episodes of Live From NCCR. Live From NCCR sessions are held as DJs and timeslots are available. You will perform a couple of sets and have an interview segment of the show where our DJs will ask you about your passions.

All of these performances are intimate with only a small group of attendees invited to be part of the live audience. You are allowed to invite up to 5 of your own people to attend your session as well.

All performances are live streamed online through various outlets, broadcast on WZNC-LP 99.9 FM locally, and filmed by our videography crew. Video footage will be uploaded to our YouTube channel as soon as possible and syndicated out to multiple community television stations.

If you are interested in getting on the Live From NCCR Performance Schedule, please use our online Contact Form and provide the following information:

  • Band name and contact info
  • Brief Band bio
  • Links to at least 2 high-quality band photos
  • Dates of availability

How do I promote an event on NCCR?
White Mountain region events are important to us – learning about them is one way we make a deeper connection to our community. If you feel like your event is a suitable Public Service Announcement (PSA) for the community or if you have a press release, email us at [email protected] for review and potential listing on our Community Calendars.

The NCCR Community Calendar is broadcast two times a day, in conjunction with local news, at 9am and 1pm, and PSA’s are read throughout the day by our live DJ’s within the schedule of their programs. We cannot air PSA for religious services or partisan political rallies/fundraisers.

NCCR also offers underwriting announcements, which are professionally produced announcements that are scheduled for certain time slots, and sometimes include a visual element on northcountrycommunityradio.org. If you are interested in underwriting, call us at 603-259-3176

Do you offer internship programs? How do I learn more?
Through our Community Learning Programs and internship opportunities, it is our goal to create an enjoyable learning environment for all community members to thrive and to have a structure in place that directs each individual with their own unique needs to succeed in their own personal goals. We currently work with four different community education organizations to develop hands-on internship opportunities.
