Partnerships that Enhance Learning

To further enrich your internship experience, we have established valuable partnerships with organizations that share our commitment to community development and education. Through collaboration with the following organizations, we enhance the learning opportunities available to our interns:

We achieve these goals through our partnerships with the following organizations:

The Boys and Girls Club

NCCR hosts The Boys and Girls Club in our studio for a 4-week ongoing program. The program will include 15 minute radio prep time and 3 to 15-minute segments on air. The content will be created by the children within the time parameters and guidance of NCCR Founder Nate Alberts and NCCR Station Manager, Corey Callaway. The program will be aired live each week. By doing this, we bring awareness to the community about the Boys and Girls Club’s local programs and enrich the lives of youngsters via community radio and opening the door to journalism.
